Refund Policy
At Kolkata Appliance Care, we aim to provide reliable and transparent appliance repair service in Kolkata. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and clear for all customers.
1. Service Charge (₹249/-)
Our standard service/inspection charge of ₹249/- is applicable for the technician visit and problem diagnosis.
This charge is non-refundable once the technician visit is completed, even if the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair.
If a booking is cancelled before the technician is assigned or dispatched, the amount (if prepaid) is fully refundable.
2. Advance Payment for Repairs
If any advance payment is taken for spare parts or repair work:
The amount is non-refundable once the repair process has started or parts have been ordered.
If the required spare part is unavailable or the repair cannot be completed from our side, the advance amount will be fully refunded.
3. Failed Repair Cases
In rare situations where the appliance cannot be repaired:
Only the service charge (₹249/-) will be applicable.
Any advance paid for parts (if unused) will be refunded.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before technician dispatch are eligible for a full refund (if prepaid).
Once the technician is on the way or has arrived, the service charge becomes applicable.
5. Refund Processing Time
Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days via the original mode of payment (UPI, bank transfer, etc.).
6. Important Note
Kolkata Appliance Care is a third-party repair service provider and not an authorised service centre of any brand. Refunds apply only to service charges or payments made directly to us and not to any third-party components or brand warranties.
